Pamela Wegmann
is the Owner and President of INFORMATION MATTERS, a division of Wegmann
Information Enterprises, LLC.
Ms. Wegmann has been
conducting online research since 1982.
Prior to founding
her own company, she spent 12 years with LEXIS-NEXIS, the leading international
company in the electronic information industry. During that time,
she held corporate management positions in the areas of marketing, sales,
production and special projects. Ms. Wegmann also has experience
as a lobbyist in the state legislature and as an educator.
She is a frequent
speaker at a variety of business meetings and seminars including the American
Marketing Association, Public Relations Society of America, the New Orleans
Regional Chamber of Commerce, the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce, the
Small Business Development Centers of Loyola University and the University
of New Orleans, and the Hibernia Bank Annual Women Business Owners' Conference.
Pam is co-author
of a column in the Louisiana Technology
Journal called Cruising Cyberspace and is
co-author of The Complete Guide To Owning & Promoting A Bed &
Breakfast and the 1999 Edition of Market Study: The Offshore Industry
In The Gulf of Mexico.
Ms. Wegmann has also
had articles published in The Information Broker and Underwater
Magazine.
She sits on a number
of business organization committees and holds memberships in
